How do I unlock the full Practice Bundle?▾
Message us on Telegram to get an activation code for 30, 60, or 90 days. Enter the code once and every locked session, test, and exercise unlocks automatically until it expires.
Is the Skill Guides section really free forever?▾
Yes. All lesson/explanation pages (Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing guides) stay free permanently. Only the full practice tests and sessions require an active code.
What's the difference between the free samples and the full bundle?▾
Each practice category (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) has one full free sample so you can see the exact quality and format before unlocking the rest — 40 Speaking sets, 65 Writing tasks, 22 Reading tests, and 21 Listening tests in total.
Do I need to finish sessions in order?▾
No. The 46 Study Journey sessions are grouped by topic, not difficulty, so you can start with whichever topic you're weakest in. If you're unsure, use the Study Plan Generator first.
Can I use this on my phone?▾
Yes, the entire site — including the sidebar navigation, audio players, and interactive exercises — is fully responsive on mobile.
Do the Listening tests use real recorded audio?▾
Audio is generated with text-to-speech using a different voice per speaker, since no hosted audio files are used. Each recording still plays only once, just like the real exam.
How is my Band Score calculated on practice tests?▾
Each test uses the official IELTS band conversion scale based on the number of correct answers out of 40 (Listening/Reading) or examiner-style criteria (Writing/Speaking model answers).
What's a good target band score, and how long does it take to reach it?▾
Most university and immigration requirements ask for Band 6.0–7.5. With consistent practice, moving up one full band typically takes 6–10 weeks — the Study Plan Generator gives you a more personalised estimate.
What's the difference between Academic and General Training?▾
Academic is for university admission and uses more formal reading/writing tasks. General Training is for immigration and work, with everyday, workplace-style reading and letter-writing tasks. Listening and Speaking are the same for both.
How many words can I write for Writing Task 1 and Task 2?▾
Task 1 needs a minimum of 150 words, Task 2 needs a minimum of 250 words. Writing under the limit costs you marks — going somewhat over is fine as long as it stays relevant and well organised.
Are the Notion templates included with a code, or sold separately?▾
They're sold separately through the SparkSkyTech shop and aren't part of the site's activation codes.
I found a mistake or broken exercise — how do I report it?▾
Use the feedback box at the bottom of any page, or message us directly on Telegram with the page name and what went wrong.
